The Traffic Police Park is located off the St.Marks Plaza, at the junction of St.Marks Road and Museum Road, both of which were redeveloped under Tender SURE phase 01. With the inauguration of the plaza, fountaion and footpaths around the park, a redesign for the same was proposed to connect it to the streets and enhance the user experience.
As a first step, all hoarding visually blocking the park from the streets were removed improving visual connectivity and the entrance was redesigned to improve physical connectivity.
The other proposals within the park included walking trails, seating areas, an amphitheatre and lighting.
